Community Midwives

The midwife has a booked clinic at the practice on a Tuesday afternoon. If you are pregnant, the GP can refer you to the midwife for the continuing care or you can self refer by using the following link: https://www.bradfordhospitals.nhs.uk/selfreferral/

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. The Health Visitors have a weekly Baby Clinic at Barkerend Health Centre, you can contact them on 01274 221223 for further information.
